After a few trial runs around the vacant medical center a couple doors down, we ventured back to the McHenry County Prairie Trail for some more Urban Mushing, Bikejoring.
Bikejoring is a form of Urban Mushing where the dogs pull a rider on a bike or scooter.
Only a mile in, both Assholes decided to go different directions, resulting in my first road rash in decades. But ow well! Rub some dirt in the wound and continue on.
Starting in Lake in the Hills, we ventured north to Crystal Lake then back down to Algonquin to the Fox River and back to the Hills. In all, we hit 7.4 Miles of trails. Not bad for the first long distance mush.
